We assist seniors and their families with the transition to assisted or independent living with not only the physical aspects of a move but with the emotional side of moving from a comfort zone to a new environment. We are trained in dementia, aphasia, hearing loss and Alzheimer’s. Do your movers provide downsizing, estate sales, picture hanging, donations, measuring the furniture to see what will fit in the new location? We take the time to understand our client’s needs but we do it with love and compassion. It’s a big move and we want to make it as smooth and as worry free as possible. We offer packing/unpacking, move services, estate sales, arrange for donations pickup or drop off, cleaning of the prior residence to ready it for resale, hire contractors to paint or re-carpet. We have many resources within our reach to take away the enormous task of moving from a home of 20+ years with a lifetime of accumulated “stuff” to a smaller environment and a more carefree way of life.
